Welcome to the Connecticut Council on Developmental Disabilities' Weblog!
The mission of the Council is to promote the full inclusion of all people with disabilities in community life. We do this by working to improve services and supports for people with developmental disabilities and their families through advocacy and systems change. The purpose for this blog is to collect comments on issues of concern to people with developmental, and other, disabilities. Your comments will be used by the Council to inform its work on influencing public policy and public opinion. We've suggested some global and specific areas of interest but you are free to comment on issues that are important to you and what we should work on in the future.
